About the Issue

This issue explores how gender, memory, and ecology intersect within postcolonial literary and cultural frameworks. It seeks to examine how histories of colonialism, displacement, and environmental exploitation shape identities, relationships with land, and modes of resistance. Drawing on interdisciplinary approaches, the issue welcomes engagements with ecofeminism, intersectionality, and environmental humanities to understand how literature represents embodied experiences of marginalized communities. Contributors are encouraged to reflect on themes such as environmental justice, ecological imperialism, indigenous identity, ecological integrity, sustainability, and cultural memory.

We invite original research articles, review essays, and critical interventions that foreground the dynamic interplay of gendered identities and ecological consciousness in postcolonial contexts.
