M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Horticulture)

Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University (SKLTGHU) has released a notification for admissions into M.Sc. (Hons.) and Ph.D. (Horticulture) programs for the 2026-27 academic year.

• M.Sc. (Horticulture):
• Total Seats: 34
• (Specializations: Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Floriculture and Landscaping, Plantation, Spices, Medicinal and Aromatic Crops, Post-Harvest Management)
• Ph.D. (Horticulture): 10

(Specializations: Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Floriculture and Landscaping, Plantation, Spices, Medicinal and Aromatic Crops)

Eligibility: M.Sc. Horticulture: Candidates must hold a four-year B.Sc. (Horticulture) or B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture degree and must have appeared for the ICAR AIEEA (PG)-2026 entrance exam.

Ph.D. Horticulture: Candidates must hold a four-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture or B.Sc. (Horticulture) degree and must have completed a two-year M.Sc. (Horticulture) in the relevant specialization. Candidates must have appeared for the ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.)-2026 entrance exam.

Upper Age Limit: 40 years as of 31.12.2026. 

Application process: Through Online.

Application fee: General/OBC candidates: Rs.1,500 per course; 

SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates: Rs.750 per course. With late fee: General/OBC candidates: Rs.3,500. SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates: Rs.1,750.
